Customer information on Corona

Dear customers and business partners,

First of all, we hope that you are all healthy and well! We would like to give you a brief update on the status of Höppner Management & Consultant GmbH (HMC) today:

Our engineering office is currently running smoothly. So far, we have no coronavirus cases in the team - neither suspected nor confirmed - and our employees have not returned from risk areas. However, we are of course concerned to see how severely the industries of many of our customers and service providers have been affected by the coronavirus crisis. As your partner, we have taken the following precautionary measures to minimize disruptions in these times and continue to be there for you without restrictions:

HOME OFFICE

  • Our offices have always been organized decentrally, with our employees working in "home office mode" when they are not on site with you. In this way, we prevent the complete loss of the entire team in the event of infection.
  • As almost all of our employees are used to working from home or on the road, the technical requirements for a comprehensive home office arrangement are ensured (server access, equipment, laptop, company cell phones, etc.).
  • We have defined internal rules on availability and coordination loops to ensure seamless communication and quality management.

HYGIENE

It goes without saying that we have taken all the necessary precautions in terms of hygiene and cleaning from the outset. We ask you to ensure that our employees are extensively protected against infection by appropriate hygiene and protective measures during their work at your premises. Should it subsequently turn out that our employees have had contact with corona-infected customer employees, we hope that you will inform us immediately so that we can take appropriate protective measures.

PRESENCE MEETINGS

For safety reasons and to protect everyone involved, face-to-face meetings, inspections or audits with customers are only carried out by a maximum of one HMC person. We refrain from shaking hands and keep the distance from your employees recommended by the RKI. For coordination in larger project groups (with several HMC employees), we will work with you to find a suitable alternative solution (e.g. video call/teleconference).

BUSINESS TRIPS

In general, HMC employees are no longer allowed to travel to risk areas officially classified by the RKI. We continue to travel to all other areas, as we are aware of our responsibility that our services may be systemically relevant for you and that we are sometimes considered key workers for critical infrastructure.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

  • We are always in contact with each other as a team via our internal communication channels (e-mail, telephone) and the What's App group.
  • We hold regular virtual update meetings to ensure that all HMC employees are always informed about the current situation.
  • We closely follow the recommendations of authorities and institutions at local, state and federal level and regularly share these within our organization.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and are adapting our precautionary measures accordingly at all times.

As a customer or business partner, you can reach us as usual via the usual communication channels in this extraordinary situation. Your customer advisor or contact person will also get in touch with you personally to discuss whether the situation requires different measures for your company or your brand than usual. If there is anything you think we can do to support you outside of the "normal" day-to-day business, please let us know.
