New funding guideline for energy audits in companies
The new funding guideline "Energy consulting for non-residential buildings, facilities and systems (EBN)" comes into force on January 1, 2021. The BMWi is bundling the existing guidelines for funding "Energy consulting for SMEs (EBM)" and "Energy consulting for non-residential buildings for municipalities and non-profit organizations". The target groups are companies, local authorities, municipal companies and non-profit organizations.
Four consulting modules are now available as part of the funding:
- Refurbishment concept for non-residential buildings according to DIN V 18599
- New building consulting according to DIN V 18599
- Energy audit according to DIN EN 16247
- As well as contracting orientation consulting
As part of the energy consultation, the recipients are also informed about other funding opportunities and the possibilities of implementing an energy management system.
The amount of the subsidy depends on the selected consulting module and the respective circumstances. For energy consulting in the form of an energy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247, the funding amount is generally 80% and depends on the level of energy costs: a maximum of € 1,200 for annual energy costs below € 10,000 and a maximum of € 6,000 for annual energy costs above € 10,000.
The energy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247, which looks at buildings, user behavior and systems, identifies energy-saving potential and identifies energy efficiency measures, is carried out by a recognized, certified energy consultant. This consultant can also apply for funding via BAFA. This means that there is hardly any administrative work for the company, municipality or organization. Our energy experts are recognized and listed by BAFA and dena. This means that nothing stands in the way of your energy audit and the associated funding.
Further information on the funding programs will be available on the BAFA website from 1.1.2021. Are you interested in an energy consultation or an energy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247? We will be happy to advise you and provide you with a customized offer. Get in touch with us!
