The engineering office and management consultancy Höppner Management & Consultant GmbH from Wedemark is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. The company focuses on occupational safety, health and environmental protection as well as sustainability, climate protection and management systems and is on a continuous growth path.
In the age of digitization, operational environmental protection, the health protection of all employees and comprehensive occupational safety in all conceivable situations are not only important fields of activity required by law. For companies, they are decisive success criteria for long-term development. They have a positive influence on the employer brand, show employees, customers, partners and investors that health and the environment are important to them in terms of sustainable socio-ecological development, and increase their performance through less downtime and damage.
“In order to meet these requirements, companies need professional advice. It is difficult to set up, maintain and permanently implement legally secure and strategic processes in occupational safety, health and environmental protection. This is what we have stood for for 25 years. We support private and public clients nationally and internationally with an extensive service portfolio and have positioned ourselves as a professional, trustworthy partner in order to increase the competitiveness and legal certainty of our customers,” says Michael Wentler, managing partner of Höppner Management & Consultant GmbH from Wedemark/Hanover .
1997 by Dr. Nils-Oliver Höppner, Michael Wentler and Dr. Oliver Stolte the renowned consulting company together today. One of Höppner Management & Consultant’s lighthouse projects in recent years was the collaboration on the specific disposal and further treatment of overseas containers with highly toxic chemicals as a result of the devastating explosion in the port of Beirut in summer 2020. “Accidents are always bad events. However, the situation in the port of Beirut has surpassed everything we have seen so far in terms of consequential damage and errors in the storage of hazardous materials. The professional and appropriate salvage, treatment and disposal of hazardous materials after accidents is one of our specialties. We have done everything to initiate the professional disposal of all hazardous materials and chemicals in the port and thus make our contribution to restoring normalcy for the local population,” says Michael Wentler.
The main focus is on the consistent further development of the service portfolio in the area of environmental and climate protection and sustainability. “For the economy and society, an intact environment and healthy people are the most important resources for long-term successful development. That is why environmental protection and occupational safety deserve and receive our full attention. In this way, we support our customers in all questions relating to climate protection and sustainability and in their commitment to implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals on the way to a sustainable global economy,” says Dr. OLIVER STOLTE.
To set up effective climate and sustainability management, Höppner Management & Consultant advises, among other things, on integrated reporting on climate protection and sustainability, on sustainable supply chains and EU emissions trading, and creates professional carbon footprints of an organization’s greenhouse gas emissions.
